Hi everyone! First off, I would like to say a big thanks to Allison, Nicole and Emily for having me as a guest blogger. This is an amazing blog created by amazing women, for amazing women.

Who am I? My name is Molly and I am originally from San Jose, CA, USA. At age 19 I left home for university, like most kids my age. However, I went a bit farther than your average college freshman. For the past four years I have been living in Japan doing my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Tsukuba. I recently graduated in March of this year and 5 days later moved to Mauritius, where I will be for six months. Mauritius is a small island just east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean which, as it turns out, most people have never heard of. I have now been here for about two months working on a Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Endangered Species Recovery, run by the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) through Kent University in the UK.
